INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS ON CIRCULAR DESIGN

Which user requirements are important to consider when designing circular building products and buildings? This question is central in two workshops hosted by VITO and EPEA in the context of the H2020 project ICEBERG. The project aims to develop and demonstrate novel cost-effective circular smart solutions for an upgraded recovery of secondary building raw materials along the entire circular value chain: from end-of-life building materials to new building products prepared for circularity and resource-efficiency.

Together with you we would like to develop a list of user requirements and current design barriers for the different stakeholders within the construction sector. The morning workshop, led by EPEA, focusses on circular (building) product design; and the afternoon session, led by VITO, deals with circular building (element) design. You are welcome to join us at one or both sessions. The agenda is included below.

The workshops are free of charge but registration is mandatory. To ensure the interactivity in both sessions, the number of participants is limited. In case the number of registrations exceeds the maximum number of participants, a selection of the registrations will be made to arrive to a mix of types of stakeholders to cover all parties along the entire circular value chain in combination with the “first come, first serve” principal. Your participation will be confirmed by email between the 11th and 13th of January.
